Berlin Life

with No Comments

When I left Berlin at the end of August last year, I told myself I would return soon. The three short weeks I spent there was just enough time to give me a glimpse of what this city has to offer.

Almost a year later, Alison and I arrived in Berlin. We were just in time to catch the end of summer.

We took our time to explore and take it all in. It’s a huge city and there really are loads of awesome things to do here. At first we spent most of our time in Kreuzberg and Neukölln. Then we ventured out.

We walked around. We watched Milky Chance. We attended jam sessions. We stumbled along outdoor film festivals. We cycled through Tempelhofer Feld. We swam at Krumme Lanke. We looked at art. We went to markets. We ate incredible food.

Our overall impression of the vibe in Berlin during this time of year: the entire city is like a huge festival.

Here’s what we got up to.

Special thanks to Fifi Rong and Glamaticus for contributing to the soundtrack.
